AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Working with families to identify priority goals, our team will provide structure environments and evidence-based programming to develop:

  • Fundamental movement skills
  • Functional and interactive play skills

We are a dynamic team or teachers, early childhood educators, autism specialist, disability specialists, and interested community partners. We have formed partnerships with Halifax Regional Municipality Recreation, Special Olympics, Dalhousie University and NSCC to offer a structured recreation after school program.

Special Activities:

Swimming is available at some locations. We will be adding specialized programming such as art, music, skating and “special interest clubs” this year.

Age Groups:

Groups will be decided by age, abilities, special interests, goal priority and person-centred discussion with families and individuals with ASD, or collaborative “best fit.”
